Your special event
and menu is special to us and we take great pride in
personally discussing and custom arranging any and all
such details. We’ll work with you as to what kind of
menu offerings and service you require, as well as
cooks, servers, tents and other rentals necessary to
make your event a memorable one for you and your
guests.
Many of our clients
are looking for dishes they have enjoyed over the years
at our restaurant. Almost all can be served off-site at
your home or wherever you choose: we bring the kitchen
to you!
We can prepare and
serve other menu offerings besides real authentic “Pit
Barbeque and Soul Food” and these are custom designed
literally “from pig roasts to Bar Mitzvahs and
everything in between.” Perhaps, for example, you are
looking for a real Downeast Lobster Bake. No problem!
We do them as well!
Back to Barbeque. A
catered meal comprised of chicken, pulled and chopped
BBQ pork shoulder, home-made Billy Beans, Cole slaw,
fresh-baked corn bread, and a seasonal fruit cobbler
typically cost about $17.00 or $18.00 per person served
in and around the Portland/Yarmouth area. We serve this
up buffet style on paper ware and plastic ware provided
by us and usually involves bringing in one or more of
our mobile Bar-B-Que pits and experienced chef, “Pit
Masters.”
(There is as well a
17.5% gratuity assessed to pay the servers and a 7%
Maine State Sales Tax)

Billy’s restaurant has been catering for years – all
occasions, any size, we bring the goods directly to you
and serve it up hot off the grill, spit, whatever.
The
following sample menu items and prices represent an
overview in order that you might plan your group’s
event. The size of your group, your distance from
Portland, and factors such as – is it a luncheon or
dinner – impact pricing structure. A 17.5% gratuity for
experienced servers and a 7% Maine State Sales Tax
should be factored into the figure, in addition to the
following prices. Uncle Billy’s typically provides all
paper ware, plastic ware, toothpicks, wet naps, etc.,
included in the following sample prices and menu ideas.
The
